
Mrs. Lee and Mrs. Capozzi’s 1st grade class finished their unit on “Stellaluna” and learned lots of facts about bats. The children enjoyed all the activities that they completed on the story!


How many rubber bands does it take to explode a pumpkin? Our 4th grade class tested it out with Mrs. Wasilewski....300!

Halloween Spirit Week starts tomorrow!


Eagleswood staff wore pink throughout October and donated money to the Susan G. Komen Foundation in honor of former staff member, Kay Moore


Eagleswood Elementary would like to thank Hands Garden Center for generously donating our “Kindness” rocks for the Week of Respect. Students got to decorate rocks with inspirational drawings and words to place under the trees at our entrance!

Mrs. Lee & Mrs. Capozzi's 1st grade class had so much fun decorating the black jars that the PTA so generously donated to our school. They are so excited to take them home to decorate for the holiday! Thank you so much from the 1st grade!


Halloween Spirit Week!


The Kindergarten, 1st, and 2nd graders are showing their teamwork skills in a game of Respect Relays in physical education class during the Week of Respect! They must work together with their team to collect all of the letters in the word respect!







To begin the Week of Respect, Eagleswood kicked off their Kind Kid of the Week campaign. Each week a student will be chosen along with three honorable mentions for displaying kindness, considering the needs of others and making a positive impact in our school!



Mrs. Colucci and Ms. Mack’s 6th grade class have been learning about early humans. They learned that they used to draw pictures on walls to tell stories since they did not write. Students created their own “story” on a wall!







6th Grade Ghost Gram Fundraiser!


Mrs. Lee & Mrs. Capozzi's first grade class is learning that Science is how you study the world. Science can help you study things like rainbows. The first graders conducted a scientific exploration and practiced using their observation skills that involved the colors in a rainbow!
